& the hosting
So you have a Naruto-related site and you're looking for hosting? You've found the right place! Please read the following information and if it suits you, consider applying! I'd be happy to have you around!
What I will host
Note: everything has to be related to Naruto, somehow. If your site is dedicated to another series, please don't apply as I'm only looking for Naruto content.
- Collectives, providing the content has something to do with Naruto.
- Approved fanlistings. Characters, relationships, songs, rivalries... You name it, I host it!
- Shrines and fansites.
- Art sites.
- Fanfiction sites.
What I require
- I want an active hostee, meaning you will have to take good care of your site. Update regularly, don't let it die.
- I'm not asking for you to keep in touch with me regularly, but remember that I will be checking on your site to see how you are doing. Though, if you DO want to keep in touch, I'd be more than happy to!
- Absolutely NO stolen graphics/fan arts/layouts or anything that isn't yours. Just...no.
- You will be asked to know at least a bit of FTP and webdesign. This is the minimum if you want to have your own website.
- Even if I'm not very picky on this, I want a minimum quality on the websites I host,meaning no offensive content, no StICKy CApS and no horrible grammar. I'm not asking you to speak perfectly english (seeing as I don't) but at least make an effort.
- In order to preserve my bandwidth, I won't host any video. If you want to offer the occasionnal mp3, make sure it's zipped, and don't overdo it. One or two is okay. Ten is not.
- Link back to Kagemane.Net if you become my hostee. I will poke you until you do, if you forget ;)
What you get
- Disc space isn't exactly an issue, as long as you stay reasonable. If you ever feel like your site is growing and you're using a lot of space, contact me, and we'll see about it.
- Your very own http://you.kagemane.net and http://kagemane.net/you
- Your own private FTP access.
- A MYSQL database, should you need it.
- you@kagemane.net should you need it as well.
- Anything else, just ask and I'll do my best :)

- Working html example, hosted on a freeserver if you have to.
- Some info about the site you want me to host: subject, why you like it, etc. I don't want essays, don't worry ;)
- Desired username (for your url)
- Desired password
- Desired mysql name (if you want one)
- Desired email (if you want one)
- Some info about yourself: your age, where you're from and anything else you think might interest me ^_^
- A few words about why you want to be hosted here.
Now, keep in mind that I am not a dragon, and I will not eat you, no matter what. Don't be shy and ask if you have any questions. I'm not looking for perfection, that would be stupid considering my own skills, so don't worry too much about the quality. We're all learning around here, aren't we? :)
